From mastery to manifestation: tracing the evolution of my agility competence

Agility in technology, especially as a Nocode Maker at Alegria Group, is of crucial importance. As an IT developer and final year student, this skill has played a central role in my professional journey. In this article, I would explore the definition of agility in the context of my business, supported by revealing anecdotes, an assessment of my mastery of this skill, and finally, its role in my professional and personal projects.

In the context of the group Alegria, agility is a method, a team process whose objective is to quickly create solutions. This process requires those who implement it to adopt behaviors and skills of mental flexibility, the ability to adapt quickly to various tasks, and responsiveness to challenges.

The complex project challenge

My first real immersion in the professional world of IT was my internship at Alégria as a Nocode Maker. Initial apprehension quickly turned into determination when I was assigned to one of the startup's most complex projects ( SACHOT project ) after just a week of training. Despite a huge and complex database, I successfully met the challenge.

In a constantly evolving world, agility emerges as the catalyst for professional success, enabling dynamic adaptation to the challenges ahead.

In a few weeks, I became a technical referent for the team, demonstrating my ability to adapt quickly and excel in demanding situations.

Agility in action during urgent projects

Two years later, this skill proved crucial when an emergency arose on Bluedigo project (the project involved the establishment of a marketplace for office furniture sales) , the project had more than a year of development and required rapid intervention. As Nocode Maker, I immediately took over part of the marketplace maintenance, allowing other team members to focus on more complex tasks. On the final sprint, due to the urgency and my background and skills, more than half of the sprint's stories were assigned to me. I successfully completed these tasks, ensuring sufficient time for QA testers to perform various tests. This demonstration of agility not only facilitated timely project delivery but also underscored my capacity to adapt and excel under pressure.

Navigating mastery: The enigma of professional agility

Mastering agility at an intermediate level, I rely on my curiosity and natural adaptability. Although my mastery of agility is solid, there are still scenarios that I have not yet encountered. Awareness of this limit pushes me to continue learning and to seek the experience of others when necessary.

In my professional project at Alegria, agility is a fundamental skill, because it allows me to quickly integrate current projects and adapt to unfamiliar subjects. As an entrepreneur, my personal project will also benefit from this skill, as it will be used in areas such as business, law and finance, thus promoting constant and effective adaptation. Agility will continue to play a central role in my professional and entrepreneurial development, shaping my future trajectory.
